As a musician and a music lover, I had often wanted to obtain live recordings of shows that moved me. As mobile devices capable of high quality recordings and low cost recording equipment entered the market, I saw an opportunity to democratize a process that before had been cost prohibitive for all but the largest artists.
The Set.fm service provided a complete content creation and distribution platform for artists create high quality recordings of their live performance that were then instantly available for purchase and download.
In order to empower this workflow, we created a comprehensive suite of web and mobile applications, including consumer storefronts and recording applications and plug-ins.
